Our group decided to raise awareness about the importance of getting children vaccinated. This decision was based on the fact that this issue has been in the news lately due to the measles outbreak that started in Disney Land in Anaheim, CA.
We found statistics about which places in America are most prevalent for getting vaccinated, and it was found that the west coast has the lowest prevalence. In addition, we pointed out risks of not getting vaccinated, as well as the reasons people refrain from it. Overall it was found that the benefits of being vaccinated heavily outweigh the possible and rare risks of getting vaccinations.
